Synthesis of a transition metal-free sodium-doped amorphous silicon-boron-nitride in pictures!

As part of the CNRS International Research Project (IRP) FRESH (Functional inoRganic matErials for global Societal cHallenges) with the Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan, a research team (Dr. Shotaro Tada, Motoharu Terashima, Daisuke Shimizu, Norifumi Asakuma, Dr. Sawao Honda, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Samuel Bernard et al. Shotaro Tada, Motoharu Terashima, Daisuke Shimizu, Norifumi Asakuma, Dr. Sawao Honda, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Samuel Bernard and Dr. Yuji Iwamoto) have developed a transition metal-free sodium-doped amorphous silicon-boron-nitride. These results open the way for promising new catalytic transformations, and have been published in the journal Angew. Chem. Int. Ed (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/anie.202410961).
