As part of the LABEX Σ-LIM project, IRCER has joined forces with another institute, XLIM UMR 7252, which also has a CNRS label. Their common focus is ”From specific ceramic materials and components to integrated, secured and smart communicating systems”.

The core scientific domain of its ambition covers the following 4 flagship programs:

• Going beyond 5G
• Promoting health with advanced diagnostics and therapies
• Bringing a new light on photonics
• Doing more with less energy

This policy has proved highly effective in promoting the scientific value of our work, and encourages the mobility of researchers, lecturers and doctoral students.
